Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the Friendswood/Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue an acting career. I’m back in Houston and loving it!

I just celebrated my 33rd birthday. Every year is a blessing and I love to celebrate my birthday and that of my family and friends. My brother says, he has a birth-DAY and I have a birth-MONTH!
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three beauty products would you like to have with you?
TWEEZERS! Brows frame the eyes and you can learn a lot about a person through their eyes. Then, for obvious reasons, sunscreen and a moisturizing lip gloss.
Who or what has been the biggest influence on your personal style?
I was quite the fashion eclectic girl growing up! I went from princess to ballerina to skater girl and then back to princess! 😉 All of those styles are still very much embedded in my style today. I might wake up feeling rebellious and a little slacker. Then there are definitely those days I’d love to dip myself in glue and roll around on a bed of rhinestones!
What is your favorite indulgence?
Haribo Gummi Bears and Mini Sweetarts.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
My Mom always told me to try my best to be a blessing in people’s lives. Try to leave people better than you found them, to be an encourager. You can impact a person’s entire day by just a smile or through simple common acts of appreciation.
What is your favorite Houston store and/or restaurant?
Elizabeth Anthony has some of the most beautiful clothing for women. I also love the shoe department at Saks Fifth Ave. Shoes are my weakness! I build my wardrobe around my shoes. Uptown Sushi is my favorite restaurant in Houston.
What’s on your plate? (Future projects, travel plans, etc.)
Getting the kids back in school. I’m excited to be involved in the upcoming “Una Notte in Italia” Gala, benefitting Bo’s Place.
My husband and I are planning a trip to Europe at the end of the year.
How do you spend your down time?
Watching and cheering for our HOUSTON TEXANS baby!

What are three things you can’t live without? (Besides God, family, and friends.)
My 4 dogs would be number one. I probably couldn’t live without my morning Starbucks and ID TV ( Investigation Discovery Channel). Candy would be a close 4th place.
Do you have any irrational fears?
I do NOT like heights although I don’t let fears hold me back from experiences, like skydiving or ziplining with my kids. I also am terrified of spiders.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Punta Cana Dominican Republic or Costa Rica for the surfing.
If you weren’t in your present occupation, what would you dream of doing?
If I could carry a tune, I would have wanted to be a singer. Or a ballerina.
What books or movies have you loved recently?
My favorite book is The Purpose Driven Life. The best movies I’ve seen recently is Antman and American Sniper, but my favorite movies are Snow White and The Green Mile.
Tell us something humorous about yourself.
I can’t fall asleep without eating a handful (or two) of candy in bed! I also have a crazy fascination with sharks. I am definitely going to swim (in a cage of course) with the great whites one day 🙂
