Where did you grow up?
I was born and grew up in Venezuela. My husband brought me to Houston. We were living in the Netherlands when my husband told me he was needed in Houston for “one” year but we already have been here more than eight years. Even after sixteen moves, Houston is the place we have spent the most time.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three beauty products would you like to have with you?
A lipstick, a moisturizing lotion and my inseparable Cartier perfume.
Who or what has been the biggest influence on your personal style?
Other than my beautiful mother I have always loved Coco Chanel style.
What is your favorite indulgence?
Flan and Grand Marnier Souffle
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Be persistent and grateful.
What is your favorite Houston store and/or restaurant?
Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Cartier, Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana at the River Oaks district.
What’s on your plate? (Future projects, travel plans, etc.)
Now I am focusing on my new phase as an entrepreneur growing my families medical business in other countries and on my charitable activities in Houston.
How do you spend your down time?
Baking cakes and going shopping.

If you weren’t in your present occupation, what would you dream of doing?
To live in Paris and be an ambassador for my country Venezuela.
What books or movies have you loved recently?
Life is Beautiful – It is a movie about the victims of the Holocaust. Whenever I get the chance I will watch it again.

I am over the age of 39!! … Well after my three children and keeping myself natural, I am very proud of what I see in the mirror when I look at myself.

In general I like to make jokes even in situations that are not very pleasant. My children love that about me.
