Today we are introducing you to Erica Rose as our latest Bethielife Woman Crush. This Houston gal resides in LA due to her involvement in the entertainment industry. She has been on several hit TV shows such as The Bachelor, Bachelor Pad, Wipe Out, You’re Cut Off, Dr. Phil, Ellen and Katie Couric. While doing all of that, she managed to get her law degree and wants to work in entertainment law and/or become a judge. Look out Judge Judy! This gal can do it all. Check out her interview below. I’ve been 25 for the last few years ;).
Where did you grow up? If not Houston, what brought you here?
I grew up in Houston and currently split my time between Houston and L.A.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three beauty products would you like to have with you?
Chapstick, moisturizer with SPF and leave-in conditioner.
Who or what has been the biggest influence on your personal style?
My mom, Cindi. She has great style and I always enjoy shopping out of her closet. We joke that she is my stylist.
What is your favorite indulgence?
Caviar and chocolate.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“All publicity is good publicity” from my dad.
What is your favorite Houston store and/or restaurant?
I love BB1 Classic in Uptown Park for shopping. El Tiempo for Mexican and of course Tony’s for the best food on special occasions.
What’s on your plate? (Future projects, travel plans, etc.)
I need to finish my book that I started writing tentatively titled “Confessions of a Reality Show Princess.”
How do you spend your down time?
Relaxing with my dogs, Shayna and Sila, who are a mom and a daughter King Charles Spaniel and watching reality TV.
Tell us one Houston Hidden Gem (places that aren’t necessarily well-known) that you recommend.
Boneyard Drinkery is a great spot to go with dogs and grab a drink. They don’t have anything like that in L.A.
Tell us three of your health/beauty tips.
Always get enough sleep and get preventative Botox. Also eyelash extensions are amazing and your always look like you’re wearing mascara even in the ocean.
What are three things you can’t live without? (Besides God, family, and friends.)
My dogs, my iPhone and good food!
Do you have any irrational fears?
I’m afraid of birds and squirrels. I’m always afraid that they are going to jump on my head!
What is your favorite vacation spot?
I love Aspen and Palm Springs and have family homes in both of them. I’m an avid skier in the winter and currently teaching myself how to play golf.
If you weren’t in your present occupation, what would you dream of doing?
I always dreamed of being a TV judge, like Judge Judy.
What books or movies have you loved recently?
I just saw the movie If I Stay. It was so good! I definitely recommend it. Very powerful. I love the book “The Four Agreements” and would recommend it to everyone. I try to live my life by them.
Tell us something humorous about yourself.
I’m really clumsy. One time I tripped and fell down some stairs, grabbed the guy in front of me and ended up pulling his pants down!
