Believe you can and you will. Follow your zest.

Kiran’s Indian Restaurant, Armando’s and BCN.
What’s on your plate? (Future projects, travel plans, etc.)
Several wonderful events where I am being honored for my commitment to community and the spirit of volunteerism. These include The Blue Cure Foundation Benefit Dinner, the John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science Gala, and the recipient of the 2016 Impact Award from Volunteer Houston at the Greater Houston Service Awards lunchon.
How do you spend your down time?
Hanging out with Lucas and Max, my two adorable terriers. We like to watch old movies. I’m a big movie buff. When I can get tickets, sitting court side at a Houston Rockets game. Enjoying a leisurely brunch or a sunset on an Italian terrace, sipping on a glass of wine and having great conversation.
Tell us one Houston Hidden Gem (places that aren’t necessarily well-known) that you recommend.
If I tell you, they won’t be hidden gems anymore!
Tell us three of your favorite shopping/beauty/lifestyle websites.
Morgan Le Fay, Les Habitudes and Saks Fifth Avenue. I like the energy and style of Bethielife.com. 🙂
Tell us three of your health/beauty tips.
Spraying a little Chanel Oxygen Water before I put on my makeup. Always be a cream queen. Try not to fall asleep with your makeup on. Most importantly, use your gray matter or shall I say intelligence.

Memories of my son Jake Kenyon. Lucas and Max.
Do you have any irrational fears?
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Lake Como, Venice, Italy. I like it because the men really appreciate women and have gioia di vivere. Also, the only spa I really love is at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.
If you weren’t in your present occupation, what would you dream of doing?
Acting, doing television interviews – like when I interviewed Olympia Dukakis in 2010 at the “It’s all Greek to me” benefit. To produce more documentaries i.e. “Dorothy Hood The Color of Life” and be a part of productions like Camp Logan. Perform other speaking roles as I did with Ida in “Die Fledermaus” for Opera in the Heights.
What books or movies have you loved recently?
The Danish Girl – flawless acting of Eddie Redmayne. They should give the Academy Award to both Eddie and Leonardo. Spotlight with Mark Ruffalo. Also, loved him in The Normal Heart. Maybe I have a crush on him.
Occupation
Author, Philanthropist, Bon Vivant.
