I love going to Galveston, and other than the beach, my fave place to visit is the Strand. Everybody who goes to the Strand heads straight to La King’s Confectionery & Ice Cream Parlour. Walking in here is like a throw back to the old days of salt water taffy, sweet treats and an ice cream counter.
