Location: Tribute Goods
Tribute Goods, founded 3 years ago by interior designer Karen Pulaski, is a luxury Italian linen company based in Houston… and they have quickly soared to success . It’s because of the unique, rich designs in their linens and extraordinary fabrics. The reason for the name “Tribute” is due to their dedication to giving back. As a tribute to the community, Tribute Goods donates 10% of profits to organizations supporting the arts, education, and AIDS research.Tribute collaborates with artists to create original artwork and then translate that art into photoshop and illustrator to be printed on the finest Italian textiles. They source all of their fabrics from a 3rd generation family-owned business outside of Milan. In Karen’s opinion, they are the best mill in Italy- also providing for Pratesi! Their fabricator is the great grandson of the founder of Frette and has been in the business for over 40 years. Artistry, quality and soulfulness are the values that Tribute focuses on and you can see it in their linens. The patterns are unique, with stunning mixes of soft colors and rich patterns.
The company’s atelier is located on W. Alabama, where they create their designs, display the collections and interact with designers and customers. Tribute ships to designers and retailers all over the country from this location as well. Not only can their customers see the collections in person, they can actually see the original artwork that was used to produce everything and hear about the process and inspiration that began each collection.
Tribute Goods’ first collection was based on the Elements- Earth, Air, Water and Fire. They were honored with the Best New Product Award from NY Now at their first trade show! Such a thrill for us! Neiman Marcus picked us up with this collection as well and they landed the cover and had a 2 page spread in their catalog showcasing the Air collection. You can also find their extraordinary products at Longoria Collection in Uptown Park.
