Location: The Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark
I have vivid memories of watching my brother skateboard at Lionshead in Vail, CO during the summers. When I was older, my friends and I would drive to the Jamail skatepark to hang out, watch the skateboarders and take lots of fun pics!
About the Location: The Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark is a public skatepark located near downtown Houston. The $2.7 million project opened in 2008. At over 40,000 square feet, it is one of the largest skateparks in Texas. On top of that, one of the cradles is thought to be the largest in the United States. The facility is free to the public.
