I recently had the pleasure of attending the Virtuosi Gala Concert and Dinner held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. At this amazing gala I got to speak with  the most lovely Victoria Christian of Clive Christian. I had met this adorable lady before, so it was great seeing her again. I also had the royal pleasure of meeting Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. So fun. I love Houston and all it has to offer! The gala, chaired by Donna and Tony Vallone and Staci and Dr. Quang Henderson, raised nearly $400,000 for Virtuosi of Houston, a record for the organization.

Virtuosi of Houston is a premier youth chamber orchestra for gifted instrumentalists (ages 11-18) of all races, religions and financial backgrounds. These dedicated and amazingly talented kids all come together throughout the year to learn their craft and perform. Virtuosi’s goal is the education and development of young talented musicians into true professionals, who would be sought after by the premier Conservatories and who would pursue a musical career as performers, educators and advocates of classical music. Their college attendance lies at 100% and over 90% of them become professionals in music. Incredible.
