September is coming up so that means the social season is about to be in full swing.  A girl needs plenty of party dresses and Saks Fifth Avenue came to the rescue! So we headed straight to the cocktail dress department and were simply mesmerized by the beaded dresses in particular. These dresses are so elegant and, yet, playful and fun. Then we headed over to the jewelry department to add some sparkle to our sparkle. Saks never disappoints. Thank you Sylvia Forsythe for letting us help ourselves to all that Saks has to offer!

Shabby Slips is one of my favorite furniture/accessory stores in Houston. Renea Abbot and her mom, Barbara Carlton, travel the globe to collect, purchase and import the highest quality items that you won’t see anywhere else. I absolutely love their mix of big comfy couches and chairs, eclectic lamps, elegant mirrors, beautiful pillows and European antiques. I could move in here!
