As everyone knows who follows live music, all of the venues have been closed. Well, thanks to some very innovative people, the Park N’ Rave was invented!
Thank you to Insomniac Events for creating the Park N’ Rave at the NOS Center in San Bernadino, California. It was such a great experience. You drive your car in to an assigned slot and you are given a gated area all your own to dance the night away. You are able to order food, drinks and merch through an app all evening and someone will bring it to you on a bike or golf cart. It was really well run and truly a great experience. It was pretty similar to a normal outdoor festival except for the social distancing, which I actually have no problem with. This was such a grea way to end a crummy year. It felt like better times and everyone was so excited to be there. You could feel the joy among the crowd being able to dance to electronic music under the light of the moon once again. Our event was titled “Bass Rush” and included DJ’s Gawm, Edison Cole, Nitti Gritti and Say My Name. Needless to say, all four DJ’s were trappy, heavy on the bass.
