Casa Do Brasil announces the grand opening of their newest location in Houston. I got to attend a private opening where guests were treated to an evening of lavish Brazilian steaks and many other of their specialty entrees. The food was fantastic and the service staff so very hospitable. The authentic Brazilian dining experience known and loved in College Station opened in the Houston Galleria area on Thursday, October 22. This will be the second location for Casa Do Brasil.

“From the beginning, it has been our mission to deliver an authentic churrasco experience in a fine dining setting,” said Israel Casas, General Manager and co-owner of Casa Do Brasil. “Our newest restaurant perfectly delivers on both dining and design. We understand many people are familiar with Brazilian steakhouses, but the ‘Casa Experience’ goes beyond the ordinary. We pride ourselves on offering the finest cuts of USDA Prime beef and preserving these classic cooking techniques. Our team is very excited to be a part of the Houston restaurant community.”

In addition to a wide-ranging selection of USDA Prime beef, guests can experience fresh seafood selections, an expansive gourmet salad bar featuring fresh vegetables, cheeses, authentic Brazilian specialties, as well as craft cocktails and an award-wining wine selection curated by Beverage Director, Regis Cerutti.

Located across from The Galleria on Sage and West Alabama, Casa Do Brasil tapped Houston-based Construction Concepts to completely transform the space to showcase the “cuisine of the gauchos” in an elevated dining space that includes a custom kitchen fitted for cooking over open fire featuring a rodisio grill and a specialty refrigerated meat preparation room. A custom-made extravagant salad bar takes center stage wrapped in hand-cut mesquite wood, topped with a translucent onyx-surfacing that features an expanded custom glass protection surround with LED lighting. The bar features the same stunning surfacing and mesquite detailing, with a hand-crafted liquor display. A custom made 22-ft floor to ceiling glass wine wall showcases the extensive wine selections and separates the bar area from the main dining room.

The space also includes private dining rooms fully equipped for corporate events, as well as outdoor covered patio seating off of the bar area.
