Location: Villas at San Luis Hotel~Galveston

This past weekend was Nicole Lassiter’s 35th birthday and she decided to celebrate! It started on Thursday at Grotto, then to Pappas Steakhouse and the turtle races at Little Woodrow’s. On Friday she headed to Galveston, where her husband James rented out all 5 of the private villas at the San Luis Hotel. Friends and family showed up Friday and Saturday for a full weekend of pool parties, beach walks, DJ music, sunbathing, dancing, fine dining, full bar and lots of happiness! We have all decided that Nicole was a mermaid in a former life, because the top thing on her bucket list is to swim with the Great White sharks. In honor of that, her mom Denise, brought out all the stops with a shark cake, finned cupcakes, shark table decorations and even brought a very tiny baby shark in an aquarium! “High tides, good vibes, Niki’s 35!”

I had so much fun as Nicole’s bestie, and a blogger, taking pics of the whole weekend. We missed those of her dear friends who could not be there.
