Location: Warehouse Live
When I don’t know where to turn, I can always rely on my favorite bands to pick me up. “Music is the answer” that calms all five senses. When the beat is loud, all my anxieties fade away. Dance it out, turn it up. Warehouse Live is a venue that I’ve been going to for years. I still remember my first show there in 2007, Slightly Stoopid- a band that blends relaxed reggae rock and loud, vibrant bass. My favorite experience at Warehouse Live was when Houston’s Southside rappers took over the concert hall…the slow, but bangin’ jams of Z-Ro, Devin The Dude and Afroman represented Houston’s culture and essence. …a combination of Southern comfort and big city sounds.
