Jewelry designer Mallary Marks opened her first studio at age 24 after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design. She grew up in Manhattan and currently has her studio in Brooklyn. All of her precious and semi-precious jewelry is handcrafted. She uses her stones as part of the structure of the jewelry, as opposed to the more typical in-laid settings. Her love of architecture is directly reflected in her collection with pieces being designed after important monuments such as NY’s 59th Street Bridge, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, just to name a few. A modern twist on classic architecture. This correlation has led to her pieces having a more “3-D” effect.
Mallary also likes painting and sculpting in her free time. A true artist! Her pieces are available at Sloan/Hall.
