The Latin Women’s Initiative held a kick-off party at Tootsies for their annual luncheon and fashion show.Guests arrived being treated to music, cocktails and lite bites, along with models in clothing by Alexis and jewelry presented by Claudia Lobao. A presentation was given naming all donors and charities which are involved with Latin Women’s Initiative. Among some members of the Board who were present included Lissette Garza, Gloria Luna Bounds, Mimi Blun, Rosi Hernandez, Karina Barbieri and Susie Molina.
The upcoming luncheon will be held on Friday, May 13th at the Hilton Americas with a fashion show featuring special guest designer Alexis. This designer is fresh and trendy, using lots of lace cut-outs, cute rompers, shorts, flared pants and super feminine dresses. The luncheon is being chaired by Sally Lechin and Marianelly Avendano Noble, with Mary Tere Perusquia serving as Honorary Chair.
Latin Women’s Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Latin women and their families through service and support to organizations that provide community resources, education and health services.
