Location: Zadok Jewelers
The Kick-Off Luncheon for the annual Una Notte in Italia men’s fashion show and gala benefiting Children at Risk was held at the fabulous new location of Zadok Jewelers hosted by Luncheon Co-Chairs Julie Longoria Chen and Hallie Vanderhider.
This incredible 2-story new Zadok’s location served as the most beautiful backdrop for a lovely luncheon. The Zadok family were all so hospitable and I enjoyed meeting them. Also attending were Amy and Lisa Zadok and the Gala Co-chairs Melissa Holman Juneau and Jennifer Pinkerton. The invitation only affair featured fabulous jewelry by Pasquale Bruni shown by representative Margherita Ligato a native of Como, Italy.
The afternoon started with wine and champagne in the fabulous new lounge designed by well known designer Nina Magon who was also in attendance. The guests were then escorted to the main area for a wonderful Italian luncheon provided by Monarch Hospitality Group. The Italian lunch consisted of Puglia Burrata Salad, chicken scallopini with broccollini and roasted potatoes finished off with Dream Chocolate cake and Strawberry Crostata and vanilla gelato. As the ladies dined Children at Risk Chairman of the Board Devika Kornbacher, a partner with Vinson and Elkins spoke eloquently of the work that is being done by the organization to help in the prevention of sex trafficking of children, a tragic reality.
The wonderful Zadok family underwrote the entire affair and Jonathan Zadok will be walking the runway at this year’s gala to be held on Friday, November 12th at the Royal Sonesta featuring fashions from Festari for Men and produced by owner’s Debbie and Rudy Festari. The popular gala features 25 men and athletes in the community who walk the runway in support of charity and has been sold out for over eight weeks prior to the invitations going out!
Some of the top sponsors in the crowd included Melissa Mithoff, Rachel Bagwell, Dr. Sippi Khurana, Brigitte Kalai, Iraida Brown, Jennifer Sullivan, Stacey Lindseth, Tina Silvestri, Gena Rush, Dr. Rocio Harbison, Marla Hurley, Julia Wang, Amy Zadok, and Valerie Dieterich to name a few. Many of the ladies stayed after the luncheon to try on baubles and several purchased some gorgeous jewelry. Win win!!!
