Location: Maison Jolie

New York-based designer Kevin Johnn was recently at Maison Jolie showing his latest pieces from his 2017 collection.  Kevin’s designs include luxurious fabrics with ingenious silhouettes that emanate a feeling of wearable couture. His extreme talent is why he has designed for celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Michele Obama, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz. Heidi Klum commissioned Kevin to design her wedding dress as well as several red carpet dresses for the Oscars. Kevin Johnn’s background includes working for the houses of Thierry Mugler, Azzedine Alaia, Donna Karan and Marc Jacobs. Since founding his own label, he has fine-tuned his extensive experience in couture dressmaking.

For this post I am wearing an amazing tuxedo jacket and see-through chiffon skirt by Kevin Johnn.  These are timeless and extremely wearable pieces that would be an asset to any woman’s wardrobe. My adjustable bodice bralet is by Bordelle, and choker, are both from Maison Jolie. I am obsessed with this entire outfit and love the mix of conservative and flirty.
