This Thanksgiving I would like to honor my Scottish ancestors who bravely came to America in the mid-1800’s. They were gifted farmers who settled in northern Illinois. They turned the unbroken soil into productive farms, built schools and churches, and worked together to form a proud and caring society. The United States became a great and free nation because of the hard work and dedication of people such as these early settlers. We all owe a huge thank you to those who came before us and to those who come after us. Wishing a very happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Lots of extra very special love to my Dad, Milton Ralston Brown. I miss you always, but especially on holidays like Thanksgiving. Slainte Mhath!
