London-based, talented jewelry designer, Gina Melosi, grew up right here in Houston and graduated from Bellaire High School. She attended University of Indiana studying art and photography. Her studying abroad in London led to a masters in jewelry design and her passion. She launched her own line and has since been hailed as “one of London’s most exciting new designers.” Her fashion-forward collections are created from recycled metals, glass and gemstones.

Her “Shattered” collection contains jewelry created from broken glass fragments. The “Broken Promises” collection uses recycled bronzes and coppers for neckwear, arm bands and rings. The “Cracked” line is a combination of both.

Gina comes to Houston on a regular basis to showcase her designs and I got to meet with her. She is absolutely lovely and her designs are outstanding.
