Polo anyone? Well yes, because I was delighted to be invited to join the Engel & Volkers tent for their Houston Polo Classic Cup 2016. The polo season in Houston runs from early September to mid-November and these tournaments are such a treat for polo enthusiasts. Real estate company Engel & Volkers is a major sponsor, attending the tournaments every Sunday. Miri Sanchez Wilkins, who invited me to attend, used to play polo herself. It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I can’t wait to go back. Next Sunday is the final of the season and it’s the women’s tournament, which is the most popular and well attended. Miri said over 500 people will come to see these lady players who hail from all over the country.
