Location: Cafe Poetes

Whether my schedule is hectic or quiet I always take a few minutes for afternoon coffee. It’s my daily treat. I love all the coffee shops in Houston and Cafe Poetes is one of my very favorites. It’s French flair makes me miss Paris! Their menu includes quiches, salads, bistro food, afternoon tea, desserts and a whole lot more. Ooh la la!

Café Poêtes is a contemporary interpretation of a Parisian café. A landmark of the past and present all at once. The idea of this particular hotel style originates from “The Orangerie” de Bagatelle  built in Paris in 1835. They have made this place unique by paying close attention to the details.  Like a Paris café, Poêtes has a full kitchen and baker offering an inventive menu with delicacies for anytime of day.  They have a hand-selected offering of wine and, of course, our signature éclairs.​ Shelves full of books compliment the light and airy atmosphere where you can escape and forget about time.  The terrace with small bistro tables and a fountain is the perfect place to get away and connect with friends and associates.
