New York based designer Carlton Jones visited Sloan/Hall for a trunk show of his “chic in the heat” resort collection. I was immediately drawn to this silk snake-skin printed wrap halter cape dress. You can wear it as a halter or cape dress. Amazing!! This style is flattering to almost every body type. As a wrap or sleeveless halter, it allows flexibility with fluctuating sizes and sophisticated fun with the coverage of the cape. This dress can easily transition from summer to fall and also is great for taking on vacation.

We also had the pleasure of having well known stylist-to-the-celebs Derek Warburton in town with his brand new jewelry collection mr. warburton.  Derek, who is co-owner of LaPalme Magazine , style ambassador for the city of Los Angeles and a tireless ambassador for helping the homeless and Goodwill. This amazing man has been a regular fixture on tv talk shows,  reality shows, major fashion magazines and the red carpet sharing his talent for styling. I asked him “with all you have going on, how did you decide to start a jewelry line?” He stated that this was yet another way for him to express his creativity and his knack for selling fashion.Well, lucky for all of us that he made this decision, because his jewelry is beautiful and sophisticated, yet wearable from day to night.  In this shoot I am wearing his diamond drop earrings, diamond rings and super cool sunglasses.
