Every time I visit Los Angeles I look forward to visiting  one of my favorite designers, Kevan Hall. When I arrived at his atelier, I immediately noticed this stunning iridescent blue gown. The color and the silver specs make this dress heavenly artwork! I was like “Kevan, I’m putting on this dress now!!”  He has so many beautiful gowns to choose from.I wanted to model them all. Maybe this is why Kevan is one of the most popular designer to the stars in Hollywood.

I recently had the opportunity to become acquainted with LA-based designer Kevan Hall when we were both serving as judges for Texas Southern University’s competition For The Sake of Art.

In 1998 Kevan was called in to revive the house of Halston and served as Creative Director there for 3 years. This stint exposed him to major fashion houses as well as celebrities. In 2002 Kevan launched his own line, Kevan Hall Collection as has since succeeded to dress fashionable women all over the country. Some of his celebrity clients include Renee Zellweger, Vanessa Williams, Tina Fey, Michelle Obama, Taraji P. Henson, and Kerry Washington.

Oh, and let me mention that Kevan is a super nice, easy to work with guy and I had the best time hanging out with him and his assistant Debbie. Can’t wait to go back!
