Best-selling author CleRenda McGrady recently hosted the third annual Women Who P.U.S.H.!, a one-day conference designed to inspire and inform women of all ages on how to live a life that is Purpose-led, Unstoppable, Success-bound and Hope-filled. Using a formulated blend of strategies, keynote speakers, stories and interactive lessons, the event was created by McGrady to ignite the hearts and minds of those who desire to live in pursuit of a bigger vision and version of themselves. Women were inspired to identify the key factors that disrupt or limit their advancement and were given the tools to navigate through complacency and PUSH into the next phase of their life and goals.
Psychoanalyst Nettie Jones, Emmy-nominated producer Tera Stidum, entertainment attorney Jalene Mack, best-selling author Michelle Smith, Houston Rockets executive Gretchen Sheirr and Better Business Bureau award-winner Kelly Trevino rocked the room with powerful words and encouragement. “I couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout we had and the outcome that took place today. Women came together not only to support one another for a good cause, but now have the tools to ‘push thru’ towards a more purpose-led life,” said CleRenda McGrady, best-selling author, life coach, inspirational speaker and host of the event.
Project P.U.S.H., a 501c3 Foundation created by CleRenda McGrady, donated proceeds and held a distribution center at the conference where attendees could donate MasterCard and VISA cards for four Houston-based Harvey-affected women and their families. Each woman received a check for $2,500 to go towards the continued restoration of their lives.
This year’s Women Who P.U.S.H.! Conference was sponsored by A Savoire Affair, Buffalo Soldiers National Museum, Sugarbuzz candy and party supplies, Chef Rey, Ultimate Personnel Solutions, and the Tax Queens. The event also featured a vendors market and lunch was provided by Nuksy’s Fine Catering.
