Location: Produce Wall on Main St. ~ Houston

One of my favorite things to do as a Houston blogger is feature talented local designers. I’m absolutely in love with this vibrant colorful blouse by ANYI AMAKA!

ANYI AMAKA is a Houston-based women’s fashion brand with a mission to enhance the beauty every woman possesses. ANYI AMAKA means “We are beautiful” when translated. The brand draws inspiration from many cultures, predominantly African culture and art.  Designer Uzoamaka “Uzo” creates clothes to bring out the vibrant side of you. I love this colorful blouse with a great big bow…so me!  I love showcasing up and coming local Houston designers. I have been doing it since I started my website. There’s so much talent right here in fashionable Htown!

This colorful mural on the front of the Main & Co. building on Main St. is meant to recall the area’s roots as Produce Row, where farmers’ wares were sold to the public. The Dual street art piece, with veggies and fruits included in the design is a fave downtown mural.
