Location: Cakewalk Style Shop

Cakewalk is a classic women’s boutique that carries a wide variety of designers that makes it easy to “shop till you drop”! They bring in different styles with each designer, so it easy to find your casual everyday denim look, as well as a more sophisticated glamorous look like I am wearing.

The Kooples delivered one of Cakewalks favorite blouses this season in heavy lace with edgy studs on the collar. Paired here with a high-waisted skirt from ALC – another designer that is new to Cakewalk. The look is topped off by a faux-fur jacked from The Kooples – the weight of the jacket is perfect for when the Houston temperature takes a dip every  now and then. This jacket would also be perfect for travel to cooler temps. The sunglasses are another great style from Krewe du Optic – the Julia. The oversized shape of these sunnies all glamour!

I couldn’t resist having the Prada in Marfa rendition artwork as my background since it complimented this outfit so well, with its classic look, as well as the black and white theme. The Prada Marfa is a permanently installed sculpture created in 2005. It is on my bucket list to visit it and see the city of Marfa one day.
